Michael Mazur, PE, MBA
Founder and Principal
With over 25 years experience in the power systems and renewable energy markets, Mike Mazur has provided his expertise, consulting and services to a wide range of clients representing utilities, telecommunications, government and industrial arenas. In his native Russia, Mike gained hands-on technical knowledge of power systems as an energy analyst and utility grid dispatcher. During his 10-year tenure at Raytheon, Mike helped modernize and provided project management for power systems at FAA Air Traffic Control facilities. Prior to joining Raytheon, Mike provided utility substation and automation design as a contractor for Southern California Edison. While at Capstone Turbines, Mike honed his experience in new technology applications.
This in-the-field experience served Mike well as he founded 3 Phases Energy Services, one of the earliest providers of renewable energy in a deregulated market. There, he served as the Chief Technical Officer until 2007. Mike spearheaded the next progression of the company, launching 3 Phases Renewables specializing in providing customers direct access to clean energy as well as connecting green generators to the power grid. Mike is also responsible for evaluating renewable energy technologies, assessing them for commercial readiness in prime-time applications.
Holding an engineering degree from Ivanovo Power State University in Russia and an MBA from CSU, Mike is registered as a Professional Engineer in California and Oregon and is a member of IEEE and CIGRE.

Hans Isern, MBA
Marketing Manager
Hans Isern joined 3 Phases Renewables in June 2007 as Marketing Manager. He is responsible for spearheading marketing efforts, as well as strategic planning for renewable energy products and services, including renewable energy certificates (RECs), direct access, and other green solution implementation.
Having previously worked directly with high tech start-ups, and energy utilities, Hans brings a unique blend of experience to 3 Phases Renewables.
During the past several years Hans has acted as a consultant for several tech startups including logicAlloy, Inc, Savings.com, and Alpha Media. While at these companies, he played a key role in developing corporate strategies, marketing plans, and financial analyses.
Before his involvement with start-ups, Hans worked as an electrical engineer for PacifiCorp. While at PacifiCorp, Hans led design and integration efforts of several new technologies for PacifiCorp’s electric distribution system. He managed several projects including energy storage, automation, and transformer monitoring, as well as helped develop new automation systems for British transmission and distribution networks.
Hans holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Washington and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.

Rebecca Meadows
Business Development
Rebecca Meadows joined 3 Phases Renewables in April 2007 as part of the Business Development team. Rebecca plays a key role in researching and facilitating new accounts in distributed solar and wind generation. as well as initiating business development strategies and seeing them through their implementation. Before joining the 3 Phases Renewables Business Development team, Rebecca held the Outreach Coordinator position in which she coordinated company events and served as liaison to city officials on the issues of integrating renewable energy into local events.
Having had experience in field engineering and consulting, Rebecca brings a fresh perspective to her Business Development position.
Before joining the 3 Phases Renewables team, Rebecca worked as a consultant to business managers, training them in the effective use of statistics and statistical analysis. She later went on to co-write a book a book summarizing her work in the field.
As a field engineer for General Electric Power Systems, she worked extensively with clients to install and maintain their large-scale steam turbines. During her five years with General Electric, she was promoted to Six Sigma Quality Manager, in which position she lead customer-focused teams in the statistical analysis and formulation of improved business processes.
Rebecca holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Michigan.

Melissa Cabrera
Accounts / Office Manager
As the newest member of the 3 Phases Renewables executive team, Melissa Cabrera is responsible for the ongoing management of the company’s direct access accounts. This includes overseeing data processing from metering to invoicing, accounts management, customer services, bookkeeping and finance. Melissa is responsible for smooth office operations and reporting activities to state and federal regulators.
In 2005, Melissa founded Performance Aviation Insurance Services, Inc. an Aviation Insurance brokerage that was tailored to fit the client’s needs while at the same time providing prompt and exemplary customer service.
Melissa attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Florida, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Science.
